What is your cancellation policy?
Spa services: 24-hour notice required.
Thermal Springs and group fitness: 8-hour notice required.
Late cancellations will incur a fee, and no-shows will be charged in full.

Do I need to bring a swimsuit?
Yes. A swimsuit is required for the Thermal Springs. Bathing suits are also available for purchase in our second-floor retail space.
I am not a member. Can I visit CASCADA for a treatment?
Yes. CASCADA is open to the public.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes. Reservations are required for all spa treatments and Thermal Springs visits.
May I use the Thermal Springs after my treatment?
We recommend enjoying the Springs before your treatment for the greatest benefit.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated as a gesture of thanks.
Do you have gender-neutral locker rooms or bathroom options?
Yes. All public spaces include gender-neutral bathrooms. Locker rooms are gendered, and an additional gender-neutral option is available for your comfort.
Fitness
Can I attend a class if I am not a member?
Yes, all ofour group fitness classes are open to the public.
Do I need to make a reservation for a class?
We recommend making a reservation to secure your spot, but our Spa Reception can accommodate walk-ins if space is available.
What should I bring to class?
We provide all necessary props, including yoga mats and sweat towels. Just bring yourself and a water bottle.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m.
Check-out is before 12:00 p.m.
Should your travel plans bring you to Portland earlier or allow you to linger a little longer, please let us know.
Early arrivals and late departures are accommodated whenever possible based on availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that travel plans can change. You may cancel or modify your reservation up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival with no penalty.
If changes are made within 48 hours of arrival, or in the case of an early departure, a charge equal to one night’s room and tax will apply.
If you need assistance adjusting your stay, our team is always happy to help make the process smooth and stress-free.
Do I need to reserve Thermal Springs access separately?
Yes. Thermal Springs access and spa services are reserved separately to maintain a spacious, comfortable environment for every guest.
Your Destination Fee includes preferred pricing with 50% savings on Day Passes.
Many guests choose to reserve their Thermal Springs visit in advance so their preferred time is secured. If you would like assistance arranging this, we are always happy to help.
What forms of payment do you accept?
To secure your reservation, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking. For your convenience:
- Your card may be authorized prior to arrival.
- Payment for your stay, including applicable taxes and fees, is typically collected at check-out.
- If your reservation requires prepayment, this will be clearly noted at the time of booking.

What is the Destination Fee?
A $35 Destination Fee per night supports the wellness programming and amenities that shape the CASCADA experience, including:
- Unlimited group fitness classes
- Access to the cardio and strength studios
- High-speed internet throughout the property
- Select wellness events and experiences, when available
- Preferred pricing with 50% savings on Thermal Springs Day Passes

I booked through a third-party site. Can I make changes directly with CASCADA?
Reservations made through third-party booking partners follow the terms provided at the time of booking. Changes or cancellations will need to be arranged through the original provider.
If you need assistance navigating the process, our team is always happy to help guide you. For the greatest flexibility and direct support from our team, we recommend reserving through cascada.me whenever possible.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes. We are pleased to welcome your furry family member.
A $50 pet fee per pet, per stay applies. We simply ask that pets remain well cared for during their visit and that guests are responsible for any damage resulting from their pet’s activity.
If your pet has any specific needs during their stay, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
What if I am unable to arrive for my reservation?
If you are unable to join us and have not notified us in advance, a charge of one night’s room and tax will apply.
We know unexpected situations happen. Simply reach out as soon as possible, and we will do everything we can to assist you.
Do you use any ambient or “piped in” fragrances in public spaces or hallways, or scented items in the rooms?
Within public spaces as well as the west end of our guestroom floors, we use our signature CASCADA scent which is comprised of essential oils and natural ingredients; nothing synthetic.
The east side of our guestroom floors do not have any diffusers in the hallways, specifically for guests with scent sensitivities.
The building features Merv-13 filtration, so air within the guestrooms is about as clean and clear as it gets. Each room also features a full sliding door (with either Juliet or walk-out balcony) so the ability to enjoy fresh air is readily accessible.
Are detergents (for linens) and cleaning products used in the rooms scented?
They are unscented.
